DevSecOps Engineer

My client within the financial services industry is currently looking for a DevSecOps Eengineer to join their growing team on a 6 month rolling contract.

As a DevSecOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in integrating security practices into our DevOps processes. You will work closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure that our applications and infrastructure are secure, reliable, and efficient. Your primary focus will be on automating security processes, identifying and mitigating security risks, and fostering a culture of security awareness within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Security Integration:

   • Integrate security tools and processes into the CI/CD pipeline.
   • Implement security controls and compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2).
   • Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests.

2. Automation and Monitoring:

   • Develop and maintain scripts and tools for automating security tasks.
   • Monitor security events and incidents, and respond promptly to any security breaches.
   • Implement and manage security information and event management (SIEM) systems.

Must have Financial Services Experience.

Logistics:

- 6 Mnth rolling contract

- Hybrid (1 day a week in london)

- Immediate start date
