_ Responsibilities: _
As a Senior Therapeutic Carer, you will be a core part of our talented team that works selflessly together to provide outstanding care for young people with complex social, emotional and mental health needs.
The environment can be challenging at times - so a positive attitude, compassion, commitment and resilience are essential. You'll use the training and support provided as well as your knowledge and experience to provide genuine care, emotional first aid and a warm, homely and therapeutic environment to the young people living with us - helping them to build resilience and achieve their full potential.

Satisfactory record of your employment and explanation for any gaps
Satisfactory references from your 3 latest jobs and any other positions where you worked with children or vulnerable adults.
Satisfying enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service checks
_ Role requirements: _
Qualified to Level 3 in Health and Social Care or a related care field - ideally hold the Level 3 in Residential Care
Have a minimum of 1 year Senior Support Worker experience within the care sector
Have the ability to lead and make decisions, supporting the Home Manager and your team members
Able to work various shifts, including paid Sleep Ins £35 per sleep
Experience working with high risk and challenging behaviours
Have the ability to work under pressure and think on your feet in a fast-paced environment
Committed to working within a therapeutic framework
Creative & able to use your own initiative
Possess good written, IT & communication skills
Drivers Licence (preferred)
