Analytics Engineer - 3 Months - £500 per day - Outside IR35

I'm working with a consultancy supporting a major banking client on a critical programme and they're looking for an experienced Analytics Engineer to join the team on an initial 3-month contract.

This role would suit someone who enjoys working in challenging environments, can think independently, and is comfortable taking ownership within fast-paced financial services projects.

The Role

• Support the delivery of analytics workstreams within a complex banking environment
• Work with large datasets to develop, enhance, and maintain analytical outputs
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions
• Contribute to securitisation-related initiatives and provide analytical insight
• Operate effectively with minimal supervision, identifying solutions and driving progress independently

What You'll Bring

• Strong experience with SQL
• Hands-on experience with SAS
• Recent experience working within banking clients is essential
• Experience delivering work on securitisation projects
• Ability to work autonomously and navigate complex project environments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
