Covering a settled Year 4 class for a maternity till Easter or July 2026

With an excellent reputation for helping students become confident learners this 'Good' Ofsted School finds itself oversubscribed on a yearly basis and due to a maternity is looking to appoint a Year 4 Teacher who could see the whole academic year out. The class is a mixture of children from a range of backgrounds with varied ability levels. They are well behaved and enjoy learning so this will be a great role for a teacher who is looking to spend most of their time teaching rather than managing behaviour.

This school is a friendly and welcoming environment to all and would be a great option for a strong teacher who was keen to commit to one school for the summer term. Full support and development will be provided.

As a Year 4 teacher, you will be responsible for:

Plan, teach and recap all teaching in preparation for exams
Assess, track, and report on the pupil's attainment and personal development
Encourage pupils engage with learning through targeted questioning
Establish positive relationships with parents and carers
Provide a caring and supportive learning environment.
