Head of Temporary Accommodation & Support

We are looking for a Head of Temporary Accommodation & Support to work within public sector.

Location: Hybrid working - Croydon

About the role: You will be responsible for the assessment and provision of housing and accommodation for the residents, income maximisation, identifying issues at the point of need and effectively targeting support.

Essential Skills: The ideal candidates will have an extensive Head of Temporary Accommodation background, with the following skills/ experience:

• Experience of consistent achievement at senior level in a local authority or large complex organisation.
• Experience of establishing and implementing business planning processes and performance management systems to ensure appropriate and cost effective service delivery.
• Knowledge of housing and related issues on a local, regional and national basis.
• Senior management experience in the provision of housing services within a multi-cultural urban community.
• Knowledge of relevant national, regional and local policy in order to develop strategies and plans.
