Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled BMS Service Engineer with expertise in Trend Building Management Systems (BMS) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and optimizing BMS systems across a range of commercial and industrial sites. This role requires strong technical knowledge, problem-solving abilities, and excellent customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on Trend BMS systems.
Diagnose faults and undertake troubleshooting, repair, and commissioning of BMS hardware and software.
Ensure BMS performance optimization, including system upgrades, firmware updates, and programming adjustments.
Work with Trend SET, 963, IQ Vision, and other Trend software tools to maintain and configure systems.
Provide technical support and guidance to clients, ensuring smooth operation of their BMS systems.
Carry out on-site testing, calibration, and validation of system sensors and control components.
Maintain accurate documentation of service activities, including reporting of faults, work completed, and recommendations for improvements.
Work closely with the wider engineering team and clients to deliver high-quality service and support.
Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and industry standards.
Key Skills & Experience Required:
Proven experience working with Trend BMS systems in a service or maintenance role.
Proficiency with Trend software tools (SET, 963, IQ Vision, etc.).
Strong understanding of HVAC, electrical systems, and controls.
Experience in fault-finding, commissioning, and upgrading BMS systems.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Relevant industry qualifications (e.g., Trend Certified Engineer, City & Guilds, HNC/HND in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering).
Full UK driving license (if applicable).
