Job Title: Project Manager
Reports to: Senior Contract Manager
Location: London and the South East
This role is site based however the post holder may be required to travel to ensure that
the needs of the business are met.
Key Responsibilities:
o Coordinating with project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure
smooth project execution.
o Monitor project progress and performance, addressing any issues that arise.
o Maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their needs and
concerns promptly.
o Provide regular updates to clients on project status and progress including
production and presentation of Contractor reports at monthly client meetings.
Person Specification
Essential:
o A degree in engineering, construction and/or project management discipline
Or
minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical industrial M&E / MEICA setting project
management, with a proven track record of successfully managing large-scale
projects.
o Strong understanding of mechanical and/or electrical systems, construction
practices, and industry standards in a commercial/district heating setting.
o Excellent project management skills, including planning, scheduling, and
resource allocation utilising MS project/ p6 or similar
o Proficient in budgeting, cost control, and financial analysis. Experience on NEC
Suite of contracts
o Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise
effectively with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
o Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to
addressing issues.
o Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, with the ability to
motivate and guide teams to achieve project goals.
o High level of attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and quality in all aspects of
work.

o Proficient in Microsoft Office, project management software and other relevant
IT tools.
Desirable:
o Knowledge of health & safety legislation
o SMSTS and/or IOSH Managing Safely
o Full UK driving license
