Job Title: Early Career Teacher (Primary) - Hackney

Location: Hackney, London

Salary: Main Pay Scale (MPS1-MPS2), £36,745 - £38,491 per annum

Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent

Start Date: September 2025 (with flexibility for January 2026 starts)

Are you an enthusiastic and motivated Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to begin your teaching journey in a supportive and forward-thinking primary school?

We are working with a number of inclusive and welcoming schools in Hackney who are keen to appoint dedicated ECTs across EYFS, KS1 and KS2. These schools provide excellent mentoring and induction programmes, ensuring you are fully supported in your first years of teaching.

• A passionate and committed teacher with QTS (or due to gain QTS by September 2025).
• Ability to create an inclusive, engaging, and creative learning environment.
• High expectations of yourself and your pupils, with a genuine commitment to pupil progress.
• A reflective practitioner, keen to develop and grow through ongoing professional development.

• A structured and well-supported ECT induction programme.
• Experienced and approachable mentors to guide you through your early career.
