Hyde is looking to recruit a Sustainability Grant Funding Manager.

As a Sustainability Grant Funding Manager at Hyde you will be working within the Energy & Sustainability team to secure, manage and report on external funding for energy retrofit and sustainability programmes. You'll work across teams to ensure successful delivery of projects aligned to Hyde's environmental targets and funding compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Research and identify relevant grant opportunities to support Hyde's energy efficiency and retrofit initiatives
  • Prepare and submit high-quality grant applications in collaboration with internal stakeholders
  • Manage awarded grants, ensuring full compliance with financial, delivery, and reporting requirements
  • Collaborate with Procurement and Finance teams to support budgeting, specifications, and contract documentation
  • Liaise with external stakeholders such as the Greener Futures Partnership to manage joint initiatives and drawdown of funding
  • Lead on data collection for Hyde's carbon and SHIFT reporting, working closely with internal and external stakeholders

Skills and Experience Required

  • Proven experience in writing and managing grant applications, ideally within sustainability or energy efficiency
  • Experience managing retrofit projects, ensuring successful delivery and compliance with objectives
  • Good understanding of sustainability funding schemes and retrofit project delivery
  • Strong financial planning, budget management, and Microsoft Excel skills
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and reporting requirements
  • Confident communicator with experience engaging a range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Understanding of carbon accounting and reporting on Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions is desirable
  • Understanding of PAS 2035 is desirable
