Mechanical Project Manager

We are looking for a mechanical project manager for a new build commercial development in London, mech package worth 5m, overseeing direct labour, subbies and temp labour

Monday to Friday, occasional weekends, and rates upto 350+ per day

Projects typically across the commercial sector including Health care, Education, Commercial, Local Authorities, Government, Industrial, Leisure, Public Defence and Retail.

Due to an ongoing upturn and increase in works they require a mechanical project manager to join the team and work on their site in central London

The successful candidate will manage the project based on site but in the office, liaising with the end client

Responsibilities will include: -

1. Site sign in
2. Daily diary
3. RAMS - Populate and issue
4. Pipework materials take offs
5. Labour requirements
6. Toolbox talks
7. Plant registers
8. Quality Assurance / Inspections
9. Wall / Ceiling Sign Offs
10. PUWER Sign offs
11. PASMA Sign offs
12. Progress Reports
13. Programmes
14. Procurement Planning
15. RFI's
16. On Site Coordination
17. Site Meetings
18. Dealing with sub-contractors - BMS, Vent, Insulation etc
19. Commissioning
20. Preparing variations for the Contracts manager
21. Design information reviews
22. Weekly/fortnightly project reviews with contracts managers
23. Multi-tasking across disciplines
24. Good understanding of Excel. Word etc

Qualifications/Experience

Minimum 2 Years' Experience in managing mechanical packages in the commercial sector

Degree preferred but not essential

• SMSTS or SSSTS qualified
• Must be computer literate. - Minimum Word, Excel, AutoCAD, MS Project
• 1st aid advantageous but not essential
