Desk Based Subsidence Engineer MRICS / MBEng

Our client is seeking a Desk-Based Subsidence Engineer to deal with a portfolio of subsidence claims on a traditional and project managed basis. You will handle claims / projects up to £1m in value for domestic and commercial / industrial properties. Further to an initial visit (undertaken by others), you will oversee your own caseload of claims from start to finish. You will be expected to assess the damage and determine causation / policy liability. You will write / submit full reports, outlining your findings and commenting on the nature and extent of damage. You will also negotiate with contractors, suppliers, and other parties involved in the claim. Ideally, you will be MRICS or MCIOB qualified, although this isn't essential.
