Production Operative

Pertemps are currently recruiting for a Production operative to start ASAP for an established Manufacturing company in Andover.

The Machine Operative Role:
- Monday to Friday - 7:30am to 3:15pm
- Day Shifts
- Temp to Perm

Responsibilities:
- Assisting in the production of furniture
- Working across a number of different departments across the production line including; metal and woodwork, powder coating, assembly, covering and upholstery
- Inspection and quality control of goods as produced
- Use of hand tools, as well as some heavier machinery such as drills, saws, mills and powder coaters
-Maintaining site cleanliness and emptying tipper bins

Requirements:
-Physically fit as physically demanding role
-Ability to work using own initiative
-Previous experience in production and upholstering is an advantage
