ESOL and EAL Tutors needed in Buckinghamshire to provide support to post 16 asylum seeking individuals.
About the Opportunity
Prospero Teaching is seeking an experienced ESOL Tutor to deliver personalised 1:1 education packages to students in Buckinghamshire who are not currently attending school. As an ESOL Tutor, you will create and deliver bespoke lessons that support learners in improving their English language skills, while also boosting engagement and academic progress. This role offers the opportunity to work outside the traditional classroom setting, providing a more tailored and enjoyable learning experience for students.
Many of the students you will be supporting may have been out of formal education for some time, which could affect their confidence. Your role will be crucial in helping them regain their confidence, re-engage in learning, and introduce structure into their daily routines. You will receive ongoing support from Prospero Teaching to ensure the success and progression of each student.

Minimum Rate of Pay: 25 per hour
Hours: Sessions typically range from 1 to 3 hours per session, with flexible scheduling
Experience, Training, and Qualifications
ESOL qualification (or equivalent)
6+ months of experience teaching ESOL or English in a UK setting
Up-to-date Safeguarding training (desirable, but not essential)
To Be Eligible for This Role, You Must:
Have the right to work in the UK
Hold an enhanced DBS certificate (child barred list) registered with the online update service, or be willing to apply for a new DBS
Provide two professional references covering the past two years, ideally in a child-related or educational setting
