Semi Senior Accountant

Our client is a well-established independent Chartered Certified Accountancy Practice based in Barnes, South West London, seeking a Part Qualified, Semi Senior Accountant. The successful candidate will be part ACCA qualified with at least six exams remaining.

This is a mixed role focusing on tax & accounts for a portfolio of clients but also with periodic ad-hoc work including payroll, VAT and compliance. This role would be ideal for a trainee who has at least 2-3 years' experience in a firm of accountants, or perhaps is AAT qualified and looking to train towards the ACCA qualification. This is a fully office-based position.

Semi Senior Accountant Job Overview

• Preparation of accounts for partnerships, sole traders, LLPs and companies
• Preparation of personal and corporate tax computations
• Preparation of VAT returns
• Training more junior members of staff and new joiners.

Semi Senior Accountant Job Requirements

• This position is ideal for part qualified candidates
• Within a 40-minute commutable distance of the office in Barnes
• Experience within a similar position in practice
• Experience with cloud software is essential for the role
• Strong proven knowledge of statutory accounts preparation

Semi Senior Accountant Salary & Benefits

• 35,000 - 45,000 per annum
• Monday - Friday 9:00am - 17:30pm
• 25 days holiday allowance + bank holidays
• Study package to support ACCA training
