About the Role

Reed Education is recruiting for a Premises Officer to work across two school sites, ensuring the smooth running, safety, and maintenance of the school environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is practical, reliable, and enjoys working in a varied role.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day upkeep and security of school premises across two sites.
• Carry out general maintenance, repairs, and health & safety checks.
• Ensure compliance with safeguarding and site security procedures.
• Drive the school minibus for pupil transport and school activities.
• Support with setting up rooms for events and managing deliveries.
• Liaise with contractors and suppliers as required.

Requirements

• Valid UK Driving Licence (essential).
• Ability to drive a minibus confidently and safely.
• Previous experience in a premises or site management role (school experience desirable).
• Strong understanding of health & safety regulations.
• Practical skills for basic repairs and maintenance.
• Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently across multiple sites.
