Montessori Teacher

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging care, play, and learning programmes tailored to children's developmental needs.
• Provide a stimulating and secure environment, respecting children's cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
• Build strong relationships with parents, sharing regular updates on children's progress and attending termly Parent's Day.
• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of children at all times, following school policies and emergency procedures.
• Observe and document children's development, maintaining accurate records and producing detailed reports.
• Collaborate with staff and external professionals to ensure the highest standards of care and education.
• Support the day-to-day running of the school, including equipment management and maintaining hygiene standards.

Requirements:

• Montessori Teaching Qualification (essential).
• Knowledge of the Montessori curriculum and philosophy.
• Early Years Teaching Degree (preferred).
• At least 1 year's experience working with children under 5.
• Paediatric First Aid Certificate.
• A passion for creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
