Night Shift - Control Tower Supervisor

Job Title: Control Tower SupervisorLocation: HaddenhamContract Type: Temporary to PermanentWorking Hours: 17:00 to 05:00, Monday to Friday (with occasional Saturday overtime)

What You'll Do:As the Control Tower Supervisor, you will be the backbone of our night-time transport operations, ensuring smooth and efficient deliveries to retail stores across the UK. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing the day-to-day transport operations with a focus on night-time deliveries.
• Leading and supporting the Driving Team to meet planning expectations and uphold high standards.
• Identifying and addressing any performance issues using management tools and clear communication.
• Ensuring compliance with driver hours, vehicle defects, and local regulations.
• Collaborating with the Management Team and other leaders to maintain operational excellence.
• Driving continuous improvement by analysing data trends and implementing process enhancements.

What We are Looking For:The ideal candidate will be equipped with:

• Strong administrative skills and a knack for organisation.
• Excellent verbal communication skills, especially when interacting with drivers.
• A proactive mindset focused on quality and performance improvement.
• The ability to work independently and contribute effectively to the team.

This role is on a temporary basis starting asap, with a view to become permanent.
