Site Director

Lead all aspects of ABBA Voyage's site services and operations for the ABBA Arena ensuring technical functions deliver a safe, efficient and world leading operation, driving and maintaining outstanding site presentation. The Site Director will provide effective leadership, guidance and oversight for the site operations and maintenance teams ensuring, with the Technical Director, all technical and site functions deliver a world leading operation, welcoming over 20,000 visitors per week across 7 shows. Site services technical functions include: HVAC, energy & utilities, plumbing, building maintenance, networking & CCTV, soft landscaping, life safety systems, waste management, housekeeping.

ABBA Voyage is a revolutionary concert experience held at the ABBA Arena in Stratford, East London, near Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. The ABBA Arena is a remarkable feat of engineering and design, purpose-built to host the groundbreaking ABBA Voyage concert. It accommodates 3,000 people (1,650 seated and 1,350 standing). It features digital avatars - known as ABBAtars - of the iconic Swedish pop group ABBA (Agnetha, Björn, Benny, and Anni-Frid), performing alongside a live 10-piece band in this purpose-built, high-tech venue.

We are seeking an individual who has proven experience and strong track record as a Senior Technical FM Leader in entertainment or sporting site event operations. You will excel in managing a mix of insourced and outsourced FM services. You will have experience building and establishing operational and administrative teams, leading and influencing multiple teams with many different working patterns and environments, driving collaboration. Strong knowledge of large-scale live entertainment, music or festivals (e.g. arena or stadium tours, circus, festival production, corporate events) with a comprehensive knowledge and experience of all technical production functions is desired but not essential.
