Machine Operator

We are looking for a machine operator to join an automotive manufacturing company near Halstead, Essex. Your main role will be based on the plasma cutter, however other machinery knowledge will ideal including brake press or guillotine knowledge.

Working hours will be 07:30-16:30 Monday to Thursday with a 13:30 finish on Fridays! You will be based near Halstead but will need transport due to the rural location. Onsite parking is provided.

Starting salary will be 14-15ph based on previous experience.

Duties include:

• Running and maintaining the CNC plasma cutter
• Loading and unloading material
• Cleaning the machine during downtime
• Working on other machinery as needed
• Working from engineering drawings
