One of London's leading social housing main contractors is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee a major roofing scheme in South London for Southern Housing.

The Site Manager will take full responsibility for roofing operations, ensuring programme delivery, quality control, and effective site logistics. The project includes partial roofing works with self-delivery, appointing labour-only subcontractors while managing all roofing materials and logistics directly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing day-to-day roofing works and site logistics
• Coordinating labour-only subcontractors
• Overseeing materials procurement and control
• Ensuring works are delivered to programme and quality standards
• Acting as the primary client-facing representative
• Monitoring quantities on roofs and ensuring accurate reporting for commercial processes

• Proven experience with a roofing subcontractor
• Strong knowledge of roofing materials, sequencing, and site logistics
• Understanding of quantities, measurements, and billable items
• Confident client-facing skills
• Ability to drive programme and maintain high standards on site
