Role & Responsibilities
Technical Knowledge:
- Build and refine financial models, ensuring accuracy and alignment with client requirements.
- Prepare and finalise Information Memorandums (IMs) and other client-facing documentation under supervision.
- Basic understanding of financial modelling, valuation techniques, and deal structures.
- Familiarity with compliance and due diligence requirements.
Project Contribution:
- Support deal progression, including drafting Heads of Terms and Share Purchase Agreements.
- Assist in due diligence processes by gathering, reviewing, and presenting data.
Client Interaction:
- Provide administrative and technical support during client onboarding and pitches.
- Ensure timely and accurate communication of project progress.
Billing and Time Management:
- Accurately track hours spent on transactions and ensure timely completion of timesheets.
- Support invoicing processes and understand how transaction fees are structured.
Deal Execution:
- Take a leading role on very small transactions.
Development Goals:
- Complete training modules, engagement letters, and team integration activities.
- Build a professional network within and outside the organisation.
- Support the team in representing Quantuma at internal and external events.
- Maintain their own personal development plan and strive to further their own personal development.
- Maintain their objectives and ensure regularly scheduled one-to-ones to discuss progress against objectives.
- Ensure any professional qualifications are maintained and that sufficient CPD is undertaken to meet the requirements for those.
- Undertake all training and learning requirements in a timely manner.
Candidate Profile
- Good grades at GCSE and A-Level
- 2:1 or higher at a good university, preferably Russell Group
- Experience in a team environment (e.g. having played a sport or participated in a society at University)
- Ability to communicate effectively (needs to be willing to pick up the phone and speak to clients)
