Sheet Metal / Machine Operative

My client is a well known Manufacturer with multi site operations around the UK.

They have an opportunity to join their team on a permanent basis, based at their site in Northfleet. This role is days only and has opportunities for career progression.

Role Responsibilities:

• Setting, Minding and Maintenance Sheet Metal Machinery.
• Manufacturing Sheet Metal Duct Fittings and Spirally Wound Tube.
• Quality Checking Manufactured Goods and reporting any defects to management.
• Maintain Stock Levels and recording use of raw materials and goods produced.
• Housekeeping in the Production and Warehouse areas for health and safety.

Skills/Experience:

• Candidates need to be physically fit.
• Previous experience of working with sheet metal.
• Machine operating experience.
• FLT Counterbalance Licence or previous licence and operating experience(preferred not essential).
