Warehouse Manager

Warehouse ManagerPertemps Reading are recruiting for a Warehouse Manager to work with a Steel Supplier in Reading.This is a permanent role 37.5 hours per weekAs a Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Oversee loading/unloading of vehicles and daily inspections in line with regulations
• Maintain accurate stock records, goods in/out checks and reporting damaged or returned materials
• Supervising warehouse and transport operations including picking, cutting, loading and compliance
• Ensuring Health & safety standards are maintained, including correct use of PPE and safe storage/handling of materials
• Ensuring safe storage, racking and handling of materials at all time

To be considered for this Warehouse Manager role, you should possess the following:

• Previous experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of Health & Safety procedures in a warehouse environment
• Ability to lead and motivate a team
• Excellent organisational skills
• A proactive approach to problem solving and promoting company values of safety, quality and productivity
