Project Engineer

An exciting opportunity at a leading manufacturer has hit the market; our client is hiring for a Project Engineer (Mechanical Design) based in Reading.

Main responsibilities of the Project Engineer (Mechanical Design), based in Reading:

• Manage projects and budgets
• Review and understand customer requirements
• Review and understand contractual agreements and ensure the company is meeting those agreements
• Identify any contract risks and conduct risk assessments
• Create project plans
• Work to military standards
• Conduct mechanical designs (concept development)

Requirements of the (Mechanical Design) based in Reading:

• Has a degree in Mechanical Engineering and/or designing electro-mechanical systems
• Has experience working in the aerospace and defence industry
• Experienced in using AutoCAD Inventor or equivalent 3D CAD Software
