About Us:

We are working with a Catholic primary school located in Romford, Havering that is looking for a Year 4 Teaching Assistant. The school is looking for a proactive Year 4 Teaching Assistant who can take initiative and hit the ground running. The successful individual will need strong knowledge of the Year 4 curriculum. In a recent Ofsted inspection in 2023, the school was graded good with outstanding features.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the class teacher where required.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Assist in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities.
• Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
• Provide feedback to pupils in relation to their progress and achievement.

Requirements:

• Qualifications: Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
• Experience: Previous experience working in a Primary School
• Knowledge: Understanding of the KS2 National Curriculum
• Desirable: Experience working with SEN pupils
