Packaging Design & Development

We are looking for a Packaging Design Engineer to join our R&D Packaging team. This role focuses on creating innovative, consumer-relevant packaging solutions that ensure product quality, safety, sustainability, and efficiency from prototype through to industrial production.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop new packaging concepts as well as enhance existing packaging solutions.
• Select, test, and analyze packaging materials for quality, durability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Support the design, prototyping, fabrication, and testing of packaging.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate consumer, shopper, and customer insights into desirable packaging attributes.
• Design processes to manufacture packaging efficiently and oversee packaging machinery, systems, and processes.
• Ensure compliance with packaging-related technical, regulatory, and safety standards.
• Integrate quality assurance and continuous improvement methods in packaging development.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
• Strong conceptual understanding of packaging design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with CAD tools and prototyping.
• Knowledge of packaging testing, validation, and regulatory compliance.
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills, able to work independently under general guidance.
• Passion for innovation, sustainability, and consumer-focused design.
