Maintenance Electrician

We are recruiting a new role for a senior, qualified maintenance electrician to join a University in their in house estates division in London. This is a static role, Monday to Friday, 8-4 which is only a 35 hour week. In addition to a salary of up to £43,000 you will also be awarded a generous benefits package including:

Within the maintenance electrician role, you will be both carrying out planned and preventative building services maintenance, and helping to supervise a small team of engineers on the static site. You will be working within a collection of buildings based in the heart of London, near Holborn and will enjoy a varied role of both 'on the tools' electrical maintenance, and office based duties.

This electrical maintenance role will include:

• Reactive maintenance
• PPMs
• Fault finding
• Allocating work to engineers
• Being responsible for sub contractors on site
• Assisting with staff day to day guidance and management
• Adhering to building regulations and health and safety

This is the ideal role for a qualified electrician, who has had some exposure to leading a team and more office based duties.

For this electrical maintenance role we are looking for:

• Fully qualified electrician, level 3 with 17th or 18th edition
• Building services maintenance experience within a similar organisation / buildings
• Able to demonstrate you can lead a team of engineers
• Extremely competent with IT, the use of CAFM systems and office based systems
• Keen to progress into building services leadership
