Civil Engineering Tutor - Remote

Morgan Hunt have partnered with a specialist Education provider who are currently recruiting for a Civil Engineering Tutor. This a remote role teaching Civil Engineering up to Level 4. This is a full time permanent role paying £40,000. The role will involve delivery 4 days per week with 1 day administration.

The Civil Engineering Tutor will be responsible for

• Teaching Civil Engineering up to Level 4 through remote delivery
• Delivering engaging lessons across a range of units, including more specialist modules such as: Unit 15: Further Maths (Level 3) and Unit 8: Mathematics in Construction (Level 4)
• Teaching on a block booking schedule every 5/6 weeks with 2 weeks dedicated marking activity
• Ensuring delivery is in line with quality standards set by the organisation
• Working with the classroom support to ensure the learner is on track Travelling to head office as and when required

The Civil Engineering Tutor will need to have:

• A minimum of a Level 3 in Civil Engineering
• Industry experience within Civil Engineering
• A Level Teaching qualification
• Experience of teaching Civil Engineering at Level 4
• Experience of teaching remotely

In return, the Civil Engineering Tutor will receive:

• A salary of £40,000
• 8% pension (5% employee contribution)
• 25 days annual leave, rising to 28 with long service, plus:
• Birthday off (if it falls on a working day)
