A well known secondary school based in Ealing are looking for a teacher of Design and Technology to join their team. The school are seeking a candidate to start on a long-term contract until at least July 2025. This is a full-time position, but the school is open to part-time applicants. Working hours are from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm. Salary will match inner London MPS/UPS. There are also available parking spaces on-site.

Deliver expert instruction in Design and Technology, guiding students through various design processes, engineering concepts, and technological skills, while ensuring they gain practical, real-world experience.

Support students' creative development by encouraging hands-on learning, critical thinking, and innovation in design and technology projects.

Foster a passion for STEM subjects by nurturing students' ability to solve problems, think critically, and develop their skills in both individual and collaborative settings.

Promote a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment that inspires students to reach their full potential, both academically and personally.

Contribute to the ethos of the school by being part of a vibrant and dynamic learning community, where students are supported, motivated, and empowered to succeed.

Qualifications and Person Specification:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
A relevant degree in Design and Technology or related subject
Excellent subject knowledge with the ability to inspire and motivate students
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Approachable and encouraging
