One of our retained clients is currently recruiting for a passionate Head Pastry Chef to join their brigade of talented chefs, at their reputable restaurant located on the outskirts of Chelmsford. They are well known and highly regarded for the food they produce, having an excellent reputation in the county for a superb, seasonal menu.

The Restaurant

• Extremely popular, serving British classics with a twist
• The venue is easily accessible from Colchester, Chelmsford, Braintree and Maldon, and a car driver will be preferred, due to village location.
• Stable large brigade
• Fantastic tip system, adding an extra £5,000-£7,000 pa

The Role

• The Pastry Chef will be responsible for the smooth running of the section and the team of pastry chefs
• Mass producing the quality dessert
• You will have the freedom to create your own menu's experiment on your own ideas and be creative

The Ideal Candidate

• Will have a minimum of 5 years' experience as a Pastry Chef
• Have a quality background within a high volume venue
• Have excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Car Driver
