Position

£12.21 + 5% quarterly bonus

Eataly London is home to an impressive grocery department specialising in high quality Italian products. Our customers can shop for pasta, sauces, biscuits, fresh produce and so much more! As a Market Associate/Retail Assistant you will ensure that our product is merchandised and displayed for an easy shopping experience and maintain a correct level of filling throughout the day. You will become an expert in our range and share your knowledge with our customers while they're shopping with us. You will also keep our stockroom tidy, support with ordering, processing deliveries and pricing.

In this role, you will be working on a rota basis covering a variety of shifts that will include working some evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

• Stock, rotate, merchandise, and face product according to department procedures.
• Ensure a safe workplace by identifying hazards and taking corrective action.
• Ensures all items are rotated by 'First In First Out' (FIFO) standards.
• Maintains and organises back-stock and storage areas according to department standards.
• Adheres to all guidelines about product recommendations and information.
• Will assist guests with questions or queries to the best of their ability or find the customer another colleague to help in a friendly and polite manner.

Requirements

WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as we cannot offer set shifts or days off.
• Willingness to be flexible and support multiple teams.
• Previous experience in a high volume retail store. Experience with grocery or fresh produce is beneficial.
• Fluent in English.
• Right to work in the UK
