Position: Mechanical Ventilation Engineer

Location: Slough (Pinewood Studios)

Duration: Permanent

Salary: From £40,000 to £45,000

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in the planned and reactive maintenance and some installations of large ventilation systems and ahus.

This position is going to be based at the prestigious Pinewood Studios site based in Berkshire.

We are looking for a highly skilled mechanical engineer that already has a proven track record working on ventilation equipment which will include: AHU's, extraction systems, fans, motors, VAV/VRF systems and ductwork. They need to have experience in performing essential checks on duct work systems to ensure that they are meeting fire regulations.

We need this engineer to have a level 3 qualification in Mechanical Engineer, HVAC or Ventilation. It would be an advantage if they held the fgas qualification, but it is not essential.

This is a Monday to Friday position, however, there could be some out of hours requirements

Requirements

• Must have a strong background in ventilation maintenance
• Need to be able to install large scale ventilation systems
• Based in a commutable distance to Pinewood Studios
• Level 3 qualification in mechanical engineering, ventilation or hvac
• Strong knowledge of hvac
• Must be a very client focused engineer
• Happy to support out of hours work if ever needed
• Holding the Fgasqualification would be a bonus but not essential
• Car driver is preferred due to the size of the site

Package

• Excellent basic salary
• Monday to Friday 8am until 5pm
• Overtime available
• Pension
