Role: Turkish-Speaking 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant - Full Time

Pay: £92 - £105 per day
Start Date: ASAP - Trials ongoing
Contract: Full-time, Monday to Friday (term time only)
Location: London Borough of Islington
Duration: Remainder of the academic year (temp to perm)

We are currently recruiting a dedicated Turkish-speaking SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Islington. This role will involve providing 1:1 support to a pupil with special educational needs, making your ability to communicate in Turkish a key asset in supporting both the child and their family.

The Role:

• Full-time position as a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant
• Supporting a pupil with additional needs such as ASD, ADHD, or communication difficulties
• Providing tailored 1:1 support throughout the school day
• Using Turkish language skills to support communication where needed
• Working closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and external professionals
• Helping to create a safe, engaging, and supportive learning environment

Ideal Candidate:

• Fluent in Turkish and confident in English
• Passionate about supporting children with SEN
• Patient, empathetic, and nurturing approach
• Previous experience in a school or care setting (desirable but not essential)
• Strong interest in education, psychology, or related fields
• Able to commit to a full-time role in Islington
