Façade Design Engineer

Salter Grange are currently working with a specialist consultancy who are looking to add to their team based in the City of London.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and design complex façade systems that are both aesthetically pleasing and structurally sound
• Perform detailed engineering analysis and calculations to ensure the integrity and performance of façade systems
• Work closely with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality façade solutions
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget
• Conduct thorough inspections and quality checks to maintain the highest standards of workmanship
• Incorporate sustainable design principles into façade solutions to enhance energy efficiency and environmental performance

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience in façade design and engineering
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Rhino
• Strong understanding of materials, construction methods, and building codes
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with stakeholders
• Chartered Engineer status is a desirable but is not essential
