NavCom Project Co-ordinator - Maritime

The client is a leading global provider of Satellite Communications and IT Support services for the Government, Maritime, and Defence sectors. With 55 years of experience and a strong global presence, they deliver advanced technical solutions tailored to mission-critical maritime and offshore operations. They are now seeking a NavCom Project Coordinator to join their growing projects team based in Redhill.

Main Purpose of the Role: Provide coordination and administrative support for navigation and communication (NavCom) installation and upgrade projects. Ensure the smooth planning, scheduling, and execution of maritime projects, supporting engineers, project managers, and customers.

Key Responsibilities: Assist with planning and scheduling of multiple NavCom installation projects. Coordinate logistics, materials procurement, and equipment deliveries to meet project deadlines. Maintain detailed project documentation, reports, and records. Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of services and equipment. Support project managers with financial tracking, reporting, and invoicing. Monitor project progress, track key milestones, and highlight potential risks or delays. Maintain communication with customers, providing updates and addressing queries. Ensure compliance with internal processes, health & safety regulations, and customer requirements. Contribute to the continuous improvement of project coordination processes and procedures.

What They Are Looking For: Previous experience in project coordination or project administration, ideally within engineering, telecommunications, defence, or maritime sectors. Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Proficiency in standard office software (Excel, Word, Outlook, project tracking tools). Strong attention to detail with accurate record keeping and reporting. Customer-focused mindset with a proactive, flexible, and collaborative approach. Knowledge of NavCom, satellite communications, or marine electronics would be advantageous.
