Reed Education is currently recruiting on behalf of a specialist SEN school in Croydon for a SEN Teaching Assistant with a unique skill set.

This exciting full-time role combines traditional SEN TA responsibilities with delivering Motor Vehicle lessons for 4 hours per week. It's a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about both education and vocational training.

• Role: SEN Teaching Assistant with Motor Vehicle Teaching
• Location: Croydon
• Hours: Full-time (including 4 hours/week Motor Vehicle instruction)
• Salary: Competitive, based on experience and qualifications

? Requirements:

• IMI Level 2 Motor Vehicle Qualification - essential
• Experience working with children or young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
• Ability to support students both in vocational learning and classroom settings
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A proactive and nurturing approach to supporting learners

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging Motor Vehicle sessions to small groups of students
• Support students with a range of SEN needs across the school day
• Assist in classroom activities, learning plans, and behaviour support
• Work closely with teachers and therapists to ensure student progress
• Promote independence, confidence, and life skills in learners
