Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per year (DOE)

Responsibilities:

• Create GA and detailed drawings for structural and architectural steel elements, including beams, trusses, stairs, and façades.
• Prepare fabrication drawing packages, including assemblies, single parts, NC files, and schedules.
• Generate bills of material, bolt lists, and related documents.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and clients to ensure project success.
• Perform site surveys and take accurate measurements.
• Assist and mentor junior draftspersons.
• Manage drawing control, calculations, RFIs, and variations.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency in Tekla and CAD software.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Industry-relevant experience.
• Ability to perform site surveys and work with precision.
• Ideally, reside within 45 minutes to 1 hour of Hitchin.
• Availability to start January/February 2024.
