Learning and Information Officer

BBS Recruitment is an independent recruitment agency for the transport and logistics sector, supplying to a variety of clients across London, Hertfordshire and surrounding areas. We also recruit for Social Care and Public Sector roles.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Learning and Information Officer to work for our client in Islington and surrounding areas.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Learning and Information Officer:

• Organise and design learning sessions that meet specific learning needs.
• Conducting training needs to identify skill gaps.
• Work closely with management to develop learning solutions.
• Maintain up to date knowledge to ensure access to necessary information.
• Understanding learning trends to incorporate the best practices.
• Conducting research to identify different learning methods.

Working Hours: 36 hrs per week Monday - Friday, this position requires two late nights to 8pm and alternate Saturdays.

Requirements for the Learning and Information Officer :

• Strong knowledge of adult learning techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Have experience of delivering story and rhyme time sessions to children
• Ability to analyse data and assess training program effectiveness.
• Previous experience working in a library, preferably a public library.
