We are currently expanding our network of Graduate Teaching Assistants to support secondary schools across Newham. These full-time roles are ideal for recent graduates who are passionate about education and interested in pursuing a career in teaching.

They support both teachers and students by delivering small group interventions, providing one-to-one support, and helping pupils overcome barriers to learning, particularly those who are disadvantaged or have special educational needs. About the role:

• Market-leading rates of pay
• Full-time positions available to start immediately or in September
• Work across KS3 and KS4 in a range of subjects, with a focus on literacy, numeracy, and behaviour support
• Provide 1:1 and small group interventions for pupils who need extra academic support
• Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons and maintaining a positive learning environment
• Perfect for aspiring teachers and those interested in careers in education, psychology, or youth work

The ideal candidate:

• A recent graduate in any academic based degree
• Previous experience working with children or young adults is desirable
• Can work from 08:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• Be patient, reliable, and nurturing
• Be able to trial and/or interview immediately
