The school is now seeking a passionate and dedicated KS1 Teacher to join their team and help nurture young learners in the crucial stages of their development.

Role Overview:
As a KS1 Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering engaging and interactive lessons for children in Key Stage 1 (ages 5-7). You will create a positive and supportive classroom environment where young learners are encouraged to explore, develop, and achieve their full potential. This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about early years education and keen to make a difference in the lives of young children.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that are tailored to meet the diverse needs of students in Key Stage 1.
• Create a positive, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment where children feel safe, supported, and motivated to learn.
• Use a range of teaching strategies to ensure that every child has the opportunity to succeed, including differentiated approaches to support all learning styles.
• Regularly assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to help them grow.
• Foster a love of learning and encourage independent thinking, problem-solving, and creativity in young children.
• Build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to support children's development both academically and personally.
• Work collaboratively with other teachers and support staff to create a well-rounded, enriching learning experience.
• Ensure a focus on student well-being, behaviour management, and safeguarding in line with school policies.
• Contribute to school life beyond the classroom, including extracurricular activities and school events.

About You:
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic teacher who is passionate about working with young children and making a real difference in their early education. The ideal candidate will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in Education or a related field.
• Experience teaching in Key Stage 1 (NQTs and RQTs are welcome to apply).
• A deep understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum and its delivery.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and staff.
• Strong classroom management skills, with a positive and proactive approach to behaviour.
• Creativity, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for nurturing young learners.
• A commitment to the well-being and safeguarding of all students.
• A collaborative approach, with the ability to work effectively within a team.
• Dedication to ongoing professional development and improvement in teaching practice.
