Midday Assistant - Dagenham Primary School

Tradewind Recruitment is working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Dagenham. The school are looking for Midday Assistants to support children during lunchtimes and help create a safe and happy environment.

This role is part-time, term time only and would suit someone who is looking for flexible work, enjoys working with children and being part of a team.

Job Details:Job Title: Midday AssistantLocation: DagenhamPay: £13+ per hour (PAYE)Start Date: ASAPHours: 11am - 1pm (supply and long term oppourtunities)

Main Duties:

• Supervise children in the playground, dining hall and around the school at lunchtime

• Encourage positive play and friendships

• Assist children with meals and promote healthy eating

• Ensure safety and good behaviour at all times

Requirements:

• Patience, kindness and enthusiasm for working with children

• Ability to communicate well and work as part of a team

• Previous experience working with children

Compliance Criteria

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following:

• An Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one
• Full CV covering employment history with any gaps explained
• Proof of right to work in the UK
• Two professional references covering the last two years
• Proof of address and original documents for identity and safeguarding checks
