Senior Engineer

Carmichael UK are seeking a Section Engineer to join a Tier 1 contractor at Heathrow Airport.

NIGHT SHIFTS

The Role:

Section Engineer will be responsible for the management of the construction site in order to achieve required project delivery to the customers objectives, while maintaining standards of health and safety, quality, environmental impact and cost control.

They will deliver multiple on-going projects, to the specified quality, the required programme and to the maximum commercial performance.

The post-holder will work closely with the Commercial Department, engineers and surveyors to ensure that projects are completed in a safe manner whilst customer requirements and expectations are always maintained or exceeded.

• Oversee and manage civil engineering activities on airfield projects.
• Ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and site teams to ensure timely project delivery.
• Conduct regular inspections and ensure safety regulations are strictly followed.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation and reporting.
• Assist in problem-solving and provide technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle.

Candidates must be able to set out and have Highways or Civils experience
