Semiskilled Repairs Operative - Carpentry
Location: Carshalton Road, Sutton, Greater London, SM1 4LE
Start Date: 22 April 2025
Duration: 90 days (temporary)
Working Hours: 8 hours per day
Pay Rate:

• Umbrella or Limited: 22.18 per hour

We are currently recruiting for a Semiskilled Repairs Operative on behalf of Sutton Housing Partnership to join their Business Unit Repairs Team. This position is ideal for someone who has previously worked in social housing and is confident carrying out a range of carpentry repairs in residents' homes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out carpentry tasks within occupied properties

• Report any concerns or follow-on works to the office

• Ensure residents' homes are left safe and secure after work is completed

• Support the wider repairs team in maintaining high service standards

Candidate Requirements:

• Proven experience in a similar role within social housing

• Must be eligible to work in the UK

• Enhanced DBS

• Up-to-date CV

• Two years of work history or references
