Support Workers/ Carers required for special School
Full-time work local to the Watford area. Permanent employment can be offered to the right candidates.

Responsibilities:
- Support teachers in delivering exceptional learning experiences to pupils with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
- Assist with the preparation and organisation of classroom activities and resources tailored to individual learning needs.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to pupils, promoting their engagement and participation in lessons.
- Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment, ensuring all pupils feel safe, supported, and valued.
- Monitor and track pupils' progress, documenting outcomes and providing feedback to teachers and parents as appropriate.
- Participate in training and ongoing professional development to enhance support strategies for SEND pupils.
- Work collaboratively with therapists and medical staff to implement relevant interventions and care plans.
- Assist in managing behaviour and implementing strategies to support pupils emotional and social development
- To provide a stimulating but safe learning environment for students.
- Supporting pupils with sensory development activities.
Prospective candidates are required to have:
- A least 1 years experience working in mainstream or SEN/ SEND School(s), or as a Carer/ Support Worker/ Health Care Assistant within the UK.
- Previous experience supporting complex needs(autism, physical disabilities, severe learning difficulties and/ or medical conditions).
- Appropriate right to work in the UK for full-time work(sponsorship cannot be offered).
- An in date DBS or, be willing to apply for a new DBS through SENCare.
