HGV2 Delivery Driver

FTS Recruitment are looking for a Home Delivery HGV2 Driver to work for our customer based in Allington. This is an excellent opportunity to work as a Home Delivery Driver for a National Delivery Company.

Job Details:

• Hourly rate : 17.17 per hour, overtime 25.76 per hour after 48hours per week - Pay is fortnightly on set pay days.
• Minimum pay : 9 hours pay per shift
• Start time : Between 05:00-07:00 AM
• Shift duration : 10 - 12 hours
• Shift pattern: 4 on 2 off, 4 on 2 off, 5 on 2 off - Does include weekends!

Candidates MUST be available to attend the following:

Driving Assessments will be held on Tuesday 11th March.

Inductions will be held on Wednesday 12th and Thursday 13th March. Please note that the induction days are full days.

Job Description:

• You ill be working as a home delivery team, going out as part of a 2 man crew
• Delivering beds, sofa, wardrobes which will involve installations such as fitting feet, putting doors on etc.
• MUST be ok with handball and heavy lifting
• Number of drops: Generally between 13-17 drops per day - within a radius of Allington.
• Training: Induction and company training provided

Requirements:

• You must have your own transport to get to site.
• Minimum of 6 months experience on a HGV2.
• Driving licence must not exceed 6 points (no TT, DD, CD, IN10, MS50, UT50 or DR1)
