Special Needs Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated learning Special Needs Assistant (SSA) to join a vibrant primary school in Southwark, London.

As a Special Needs Assistant, you will provide essential support to Early Years age students with special educational needs, working closely with teachers to ensure that every child receives the care and encouragement they need to thrive.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support children with a range of special educational needs (SEN), including ADHD and Autism.
- Work 1:1 or with small groups of children, tailoring support to meet individual needs.
- Assist in implementing individual education plans (IEPs) and other support strategies.
- Assist with personal care needs, where applicable, ensuring dignity and respect.
