SEN Intervention Tutor

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging functional skills tuition in Maths and/or English to SEN students.
• Develop and implement personalised lesson plans that address individual learning gaps.
• Adapt teaching strategies to suit the unique needs of learners with additional challenges.
• Monitor student progress and provide regular, constructive feedback to learners and their families.
• Collaborate with other professionals and parents to ensure a consistent, supportive learning approach.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of teaching/tutoring experience in functional skills (Maths or English).
• Extensive experience working with SEN children.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Must have, or be willing to undertake, an enhanced DBS check.

Desired Qualifications:

• PGCE in Maths or English and/or QTS is highly desirable.
• Additional SEN-specific training or qualifications are a plus.
