Are you a passionate Drama Teacher who can bring creativity, confidence and energy to the classroom? We're recruiting for a dedicated and engaging Drama specialist to join a well-regarded secondary school in Maidenhead on a temporary basis.

The school have a very supportive staffing body and wellbeing is at the centre of their ethos. This was evident when I visited the school, making it an attractive place to workStudents are polite and well-presented both inside and outside of lessons and there is a positive buzz of energy around the school. This school regularly works towards school productions which are well attended and the member of staff which I met with said they always look forward to attending the shows.

About the Role

We are looking for a Drama Teacher who can:

• Deliver creative and inspiring Drama lessons across KS3-KS4
• Plan and deliver engaging practical and theory-based sessions
• Foster a supportive, inclusive and lively learning environment
• Confidently manage a classroom and build rapport with students
• Contribute to the wider performing arts department where required

About You

To be successful, you will need:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
• Experience teaching Drama in a UK school setting
• Strong behaviour management and communication skills
• A passion for supporting students' creative development
• Availability to start immediately or at short notice
