JUNIOR ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

Day to day duties are not specific as initially you will be an office junior and expected to learn all aspects of the company, but some examples of duties are as follows:

• Support Management with the creation of technical submittals, procurement schedules and health and safety reports.
• Develop an in depth understanding of 18thedition wiring regulations.
• Learn from in house design how to identify issues and develop designs.
• Learn Auto CAD and carry out design and installation drawings.
• Managing quotations with suppliers.
• Carry out take offs and estimating for tenders.
• Attend meetings and develop relationships with client teams.

The idea is for us to employ someone who is fresh in the industry and has the aptitude and willing to learn what we have to teach them. They will then develop into a natural role within the business as a Project manager running their own projects with a good understanding of Electrical design principles and the ability to be self sufficient in most all aspects of subcontracting.
