Requirements of Reception and Year 1 Teacher:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential

Experience teaching in EYFS/Reception and delivering systematic phonics

Previous experience in a Key Stage 1 setting

A calm, nurturing personality with excellent teamwork skills

Commitment to creating a stimulating, inclusive learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons with a strong focus on phonics
• Lead Reception lessons in the morning and teach Year 1 in the afternoon
• Assess and track pupil progress, tailoring teaching to individual needs
• Foster strong relationships with parents and support each child's development
• Collaborate with colleagues to support the bilingual and inclusive ethos of the school
• Contribute positively to the school's culture, values, and vision
